Mr. Brad Pitt, Finally. It’s nice to meet you.

Where were you while we were filming in Tulsa? It’s very honor to meet you.

As you know, I'm from Korea. Actually my name is Youn Yuh-jung. Most of the European people call me Yuh-Yung, some of them call me Yu-Jng. but most European people call me Yuh-Yung, some of them call me Yu-Jng. But tonight, you are all forgiven.

And well, I usually, I'm living in the other part in the world. I just watch it on television, It is Oscar, event on the television. Just watching, like a television program for us.

But me being here by myself, I cannot believe it that I'm here.

Thank you for the wonderful Minari family, Steven, Issac, Yeri, Noel, and Alan.

We became a family. And most of all, Lee Issac Chung, above all, without him, I couldn't be here tonight. He was our captain and my director. thanks to you. Too many thanks to you.

​And I’d like to thanks, see I don’t believe in competiton. How can I win Glenn Ciose? win of Glenn Ciose? I have been watching her so many performances, so this is just, all the nominees, five nominees. we are the winner for the different movies. We played different roles, so we cannot compete with each other. Tonight I’m here is that just because of a little bit of luck, I think. Maybe luckier than you. And also maybe, Is that an American hospitality for the Korean actor? I’m not sure. Thank you so much.

And I’d like to thank to much two boys who made me go out and work. So beloved sons, this is result because mommy works so hard.

And I’d like to dedicate this award for my first director, KIM Ki-young who was very genius director. I made a movie together with my first movie. I think he will be very happy if he is still alive. Thank you very much!

윤여정 오스카 수상소감

브래드피트씨, 드디어! (이제야) 만나서 반가워요!

미나리 촬영하는 동안 어디 계셨어요? 그래도 만나 뵙게 되어 정말 영광이에요

아시다시피 전 한국인이에요. 제 실제 이름은 윤여정인데, 그렇지만 오늘밤엔 여러분 모두 봐드릴게요. 대부분 유럽 분들이 절 여영이라 부르고, 몇몇 분들은 절 유정이라 부르더군요. 그렇지만 오늘밤엔 여러분 모두 봐드릴게요.

지구 반대편에 살고 있는 저는 보통 아카데미 시상식을 TV로 봐요. 그냥 저희가 텔레비전 프로그램 보듯 봐요.

그런데 오늘 제가 여기 있다니. 제가 여기 있다는 게 실감이 안나요.

아! 이제 정신 좀 가다듬어 볼게요.

저를 뽑아주신 아카데미 멤버들에게 깊은 감사를 표합니다.

음, 그 다음 소감은 이렇게 말하죠.

미나리 가족들에게 깊은 감사를 드려요. 무엇보다 정이삭 감독, 그가 없었으면 전 오늘밤 여기 없었을 거예요. 그는 우리의 캡틴이자 감독이었죠. 깊이 감사를 드려요

내가 어떻게 글렌 클로즈와 같은 대배우와 경쟁을 하겠어요? 다섯 후보들은 다 각자의 영화에서 다른 역할을 했을 뿐이에요. 내가 운이 더 좋아 이 자리에 있는 것 같아요. 미국 분들이 한국 배우들에게 특히 환대를 해주시는 것 같아요. 너무 감사드려요.

두 아들이 항상 저에게 일하러 나가라고 하는데 이 모든 게 아이들의 잔소리 때문이에요

열심히 일했더니 이런 상을 받게 됐어요.

김기영 감독님에게 감사합니다. 나의 첫 번째 영화를 연출한 첫 감독님이에요. 여전히 살아계신다면 수상을 기뻐해주셨을 것입니다.

모두에게 다시 한 번 감사합니다.
